The clothes, makeup, hair, location and strawberry's are all eye catching but all I could think of was "oh look, she's holding a silver comport"
When I had my antique store I must have polished and sold at least 70 of these comports in assorted designs and sizes and I am sad to say that I did not keep one of them.
Looking at this photo brings my imagination alive and suddenly I feel as if I need at least five in the villa kitchen for serving scrumptious goodies on an assortment of occasions.
In Australia you can usually pick a vintage EPNS silver comport for under $5.00 at a thrift store.
