Flying in the breeze......

I am determined to have mounted initial crest flags at the end of the driveway to the villa.

I just re-read what I wrote and I screwed my face up as it sounds so pretentious!

But on the other hand they will look GREAT hanging from a tall, scrolled, black, cast iron, flag mount.
And it is a family estate to pass onto the next generation so it's sort of serious business (right?)

(Besides ....I've already brought the flags and they are packed and ready to be sent to Italy)
